The Eraserheads’ final set was a blast. 100K persons watched it.

Then something symbolic happened because Ely burned their piano.

Ito yung piano na tambak ng sticker na madalas ginagamit ng banda… at nasa cover ng Sticker Happy album kasama nung naked chic. Kumbaga sa The Beatles, ito yung alagang piano ng banda.

What could this mean? Bakit kaya sinunog ni Elyboy yung piano?

Madaming interpretations, eh:

- forget bad memories, look into the future?

- sa next concert, puro mga kanta galing or after ng Sticker Happy naman kakantahin nila? kasi mga ni-perform nila halos puro galing sa CiRcuS at Cutterpillow? (huh?!)

- maglalabas sila ng album na parang Sticker Happy ang tunog?

- Sticker Happy favorite nila?

- good vibes na ang lahat? kung kaya’t nag-group hug/bow na sila sa huli?

- wala na ang Eheads for good? so long farewell?

- malas yung piano?

- new chapter in the band’s career?

If you’ve been to 70’s Bistro, the Eheads piano used to be there always… and if you can remember, the said album was like the turning point in the band’s career. Think think think!

Sabi naman sa groups, the piano survived and it’s in Ely’s house now.

Sabi naman ni Buddy, see you in ten years?
