Now this is something. A few weeks ago, photos of the alleged PS3 Slim have surfaced on the internets tubes and sources say these photos came from a factory in Taiwan. But apparently, the console has travelled exactly 730 miles (from Taipei to Manila) and some local store is selling it for a premium.
It doesn’t look that slim to me:
It looks similar to the alleged PS3 Slim. But the thing here is basically the way the video was recorded, its of low quality that you can’t really analyse the details well. And if you saw something this uncommon, then you should have at least tested it. Though thanks to the original uploader for sharing the video.
I’m guessing this is just a “PS3 Slim” with old Sega Genesis or SNES innards; or probably an el cheapo DVD player with 16-bit games emulator.
Hoax or legit? Until Sony announces the real PS3 Slim, this thing, then, is considered fake.

not fake. but leaked. the unit was stolen from factory. and sold it in the philippines. compare the date of the youtube video to the release date of the ps3 slim.
It is actually legit. I have that. It just looks fake because the logo i guess. My mom bought it from some guy at work and i waited a week until i got a game.I sorta thought it was fake too because of the online rumors lol…
