The very tempting Hyundai Genesis Coupe

September 3rd, 2010 - Motoring

This is Hyundai’s very first front-engine, rear-wheel drive sports coupe and I believe will go against Nissan’s G series.
Hyundai decided to retire the Tiburon brand and replaced it with this. It has proper transmission and brakes, 6-speed manual and four-piston Brembo’s.

Though what I am really interested at is the turbocharged 2.0 L Theta engine. [...]

We have the original UK series, and Australian and Russian versions. Finally, the US version is up and ready!
Top Gear USA will now be on the History Channel instead of NBC, though. It was originally scheduled on NBC but the network canned it because of high costs and low expectations.
There was only one episode (pilot) [...]

August 22nd, 2010 - Lounge, Motoring, Practical Shooting

Long time no post, everyone. It’s been awhile since my last entry and I do hope this would be a new start for my blogging (if you can call it blogging).
Now, let’s acknowledge it. In every angle that we look at it, newly elected P-Noy has indeed “inherited” lots of problems from the previous administration [...]

10 years. Honda’s Y2K millennium bug roadster was launched in April 1999. And it’s quite a shame it’s production will end on June 2009. JDM freaks felt blue when Honda announced the retirement of the mighty NSX. This time won’t be any different.

Honda City 1.5E Test Drive

March 8th, 2009 - Motoring

The previous generation Honda City / Fit Aria (GD series) looked like a badly drawn foot of Voltes V. It was that way, because it was just a sedan-ized Honda Jazz / Fit. But now, it’s the exact opposite.

Ford’s latest muscle car is A-one with 540HP supercharged 5.4L V8 6MT to boot.
The 2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 gets the new sheet metal and interior treatment, like the regular Mustang, but its engine is similar to the last Shelby variant Ford put out, the GT500 KR; it has the same supercharged V-8 engine putting [...]
